Do you like planetary science? Emmanuel is working at UCLA in the Earth, Planetary and Space science department to facilitate the research of undergraduates, Ph.D. candidates, and faculty so they can explore pressing issues facing our world. Pretty cool!

In this interview, we start off with some background about earth's magnetic field, how it is measured, and how it is affected by space weather. Then Emmanuel talks about his role at UCLA, helping to build satellites, drones, using tech, and connecting with people to make science happen. Right now Emmanuel is focusing on building ELFIN, a satellite project that will measure space weather and magnetic field fluctuations. This data will be used in many projects for years to come.
