“I used to think the Sabbath was just a reward for finishing the week. But then I realized… God makes us rest on the first day so we know the work depends on His power, not our hustle.”

📖 “See, the Lord has given you the Sabbath; therefore He gives you food for two days on the sixth day. Let every man stay in his place; let no man leave his place on the seventh day.” (Exodus 16:29 AMP)

📖 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.” (Matthew 6:33 AMP)

💥 Read that again. In the Hebrew calendar, the day actually begins at sundown—with rest. We are the only ones who think we have to "earn" our peace by working all day. God established a rhythm where you start from a place of being "filled" before you ever try to "function." He wanted them to trust that the Manna would fall even when they weren't chasing it.

You are called to work from victory, not for victory.

Rest is not a "break" from the year; it is the "battery" for the year.

If you start this year by sprinting without sitting at His feet, you’ll burn out before the breakthrough.

🔥 What I Realized:

Your productivity this year is not a measurement of your worth to God.

God provides more in your "stillness" than you can grab in your "stressing."

True trust is being able to stop because you know He never does.
