NEW Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City Sequel in Development at Sony | Umbrella Chronicles!?

Here we go again. It appears that despite its lackluster reception, a sequel to 2021's Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is in the works at Sony Pictures. As reported by Sudbury.com, the Sudbury, Ontario location is being used for another Resident Evil film, only known as "Umbrella Chronicles." It is unclear whether or not this potential sequel would be a faithful adaptation of the 2007 on-rails shooter video game of the same name. Sony has not officially announced another Biohazard project just yet.
