Selecting Cellular Mobile Routers: Dual Modem vs Single Modem for Solid RV/Boat Internet

Описание к видео Selecting Cellular Mobile Routers: Dual Modem vs Single Modem for Solid RV/Boat Internet

There are so many different mobile routers on the market available for RVers and boaters to choose as the heart of their mobile internet setup - some coming in single modem and dual modem configurations.

Pepwave offers the MAX Transit, MoFi has the 5500 series, Cradlepoint offers multiple options and even WiFiRanger is now in the cellular router marketplace.

But just what is a modem, and how does dual modem benefit you? Is Dual SIM the same as Dual Modem? It all comes down to how much redundancy and reliability you need to use features like auto-failover, load balancing or bonding.
