This is a basic video guide showing how to remove a motor and fit a new one into a DC04 Vacuum Cleaner.This video was originally split into 2 but since we can upload longer videos now I have joined them again to show a complete repair start to finish. We do also have the cheaper Chinese made motors part number MO49 but where ever possible I would rather install the better quality motor.
