Old World Philadelphia, Fairmount Mounds, 1864/1876 Expo, Lenape / Susquehannock, Buried Streets

Howdy ya’ll.
I’ve received requests to make a video about Philadelphia. Being a Pennsylvanian, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Philly many times. It’s such an immense and beautiful city cloaked in history, and also mystery!

Today I’ve decided to dive into the narrative a bit, but the most important part about this video are the images. I’ve collected a number of rare images from different historical organizations that many people may not have seen before.

So today, let’s take a trip together through the Old World City of Brotherly Love. I’ll provide time stamps below if you’d like to skip the intro, or skip to certain parts of the video.

Admittedly this is most likely just part one, as the history of Philadelphia is so deep, immense, and intricate, that there’s a lot more I’d like to discuss... so I’m pretty sure a second video will be coming soon.
