AFM ADJUSTMENT TO AIR/FUEL RATIO For Optimal Performance - Too Rich Fuel Mixture!

Bosch air flow meter totally maladjusted. In this video I will show you how to fix a rich running classic BMW 635 csi.

The air mass meter that we purchased from Denmark needed a load of work doing to the wiper track adjustment and also the CO screw was turned in to max richness. But the biggest problem was that the air flow flap spring had been set too loose which in effect raised the fuel enrichment way past stoichiometric. With no lambda sensor on this engine and no OBD it was down to good old fashioned mechanic skills.

The last time that I had set the CO on this type of meter was around 1996 so to be fair I think I did ok haha!
