Hey everyone, thanks for checking out my video about the 5 things I wish I knew before moving to Henderson, NV! I've been living in this amazing city for almost 20 years now and I'm excited to share with you the five things I wish I would've known before moving here.
HOAs - They can be really expensive and tell you what to do with your property. If you're not a fan, I can help you find a no HOA community in Henderson.
Traffic - Coming from a small town, the traffic in Henderson was a bit of a shock for me. But don't worry, you'll get used to it!
Heat - The summer months can get pretty hot in Henderson, with triple digit temperatures for a few months. But on the bright side, the pools and AC here are amazing.
House prices - It can be expensive to live in Henderson, with higher costs for housing, kids' sports, entertainment, and even just eating out. It helps to have a dual income family to afford living here.
Water restrictions - Coming from a place with an endless supply of water, the water restrictions in the desert were a bit of a surprise for me. Make sure to follow the rules for watering your lawn, washing your car, and even overflowing your pool to avoid fines.
