Perez was seen wearing a ski mask as he evaded authorities through Miami streets and eventually onto Interstate 95, heading northbound into Broward County. Despite reckless maneuvers, including driving in the wrong direction on the highway, Perez was finally apprehended at a tire shop in Lauderdale Lakes. Glen Taylor, the shop owner, mentioned the disruption caused by the police presence. Perez faces charges, including fleeing or eluding law enforcement.
