OFF GRID FARM LIFE//MORE FARM ANIMALS! Swales project in the garden. Building an A-frame shed.

We have some big changes on the homestead!

We are preparing to have more animals on the land. While I was working with the strimmers I felt that it was wrong. I know it had to be done but it can be done differently. After asking around, we found some goats that needed to be replaced. They soon will come and live on our homestead.

Of course we need to prepare for having the goats. First we make them a place to stay and a milking station. For a shelter we choose to make a A-frame shed. It is a nice place out of the rain and wind, basically all they need for the nights.

There is rain coming this week and that makes it the right time to do some digging and make swales in the garden. We have some big plans to plant fruit trees and other nice tings. Looking forward on how all will grow and develop.
