Chill Brazilian Zouk Dancing - Gui & Kelsey - Corazón Partio by Alejandro Sanz (DJ Kakah)

A chill and very tired dancing of an intense weekend of training :) Below the text I posted this video with on Facebook:

My first Brazilian Zouk instructor, in my very first lesson, described this dance as being like smoke, that would slowly spread around the room, taken by the air. That image was very powerful and got stuck in my head ever since. Although the dance has changed a lot throughout the years, the flow that Brazilian Zouk can create remains mesmerizing. I think we can all agree to that, right?
The circles, the waves, the reversions, all the possibilities to create continuity, not only with legs, but also with the upper body. Creating this kind of flow more and more is my personal challenge. When Ian Takeshi asked me to dance more in the same spot cause he wanted to film upper body more I felt my insecurities rise. BUT, luckily the Khaleesi of the West, Mother of Zouk Dragons, the One with The Fastest Head Movements of the West, Kelsey Rote was my partner 🤩🍀😊 I still don't understand how, but her body creates a flow that invites you to experiment and try things endlessly. It is so amazing! 🤯
I hope you guys enjoy this small part of the dance as much as I did, especially Kelsey's hair whips that challenges the laws of gravity 🤯🤯
