Is This Levitating Car from Volkswagen Real?

A Volkswagen levitating car is only a concept that was fleshed up for display at a Chinese auto show.

The Hover Automobile, an environmentally friendly two-seater city automobile that hovers slightly above the ground, is presented by Volkswagen as a study of a zero-emissions vehicle that may travel on future electromagnetic road networks.

The creative designs from the 'People's Car Project' offer us with a fantastic insight into the demands of Chinese drivers, said Simon Loasby, Volkswagen Group China's Head of Design. 'The trend is toward safe cars with a personal, emotional, and intriguing design that can manage busy roadways.

The levitating automobile seen in the video is simply a concept that was given shape for display at a Chinese auto show; there is no working model of the vehicle as shown in the film.
