In this video I go where no man has boldly gone before and few will feel the need to go after. I rip, tear, and slice open a Boveda 72% Humidity Pack to find out what's inside.

It's interesting how this gel-like substance keeps our cigars fresh and ready to smoke. I don't think that work as well as we believe they do though. I've had some cigars that get uneven humidity. Some cigars were perfect when I first lit them but then wouldn't stay lit and some were hard to light but were perfectly fine towards the end. I believe that Boveda needs to spend some money on Research and Development to figure out how to make it work better.
We as consumers believe that these packs work perfectly, when the truth is that they do not. Boveda does an excellent job telling us how great the product is, but it can definitely use some improvement.
