A classical pianist reviews an incredibly beautiful performance by a far superior classical pianist.

Fritz Kreisler's Liebesleid is a beautiful work written for violin and piano, but Rachmaninoff's arrangement of it for piano is a fantastic piece in its own right. Some parts look simple enough to sight-read, but the chromaticism, moving lines in each voice, and different textures combined with the overall light touch make it much more difficult and complex.
