● Basta avere uno sguardo attento e guardarsi intorno per capire che, ovviamente, non siamo ancora alla normalità. Stiamo lavorando per tornarci. Ma ad oggi è strana la sensazione che si prova quando si vedono le splendide giornate di sole e si vedono pochi turisti, che solitamente a giugno affollano le principali città del nostro Paese.
E proprio da questo principio e presupposto che, forse, si riuscirà a guardare con occhio diverso la quotidianità, riscoprendo il valore del tempo, che passa, scorre e fugge, senza aspettare nessuno, di se stessi, dei rapporti più autentici e delle relazioni forti e durature.
Stiamo imparando ad apprezzare maggiormente gli abbracci che potremo dare ai nostri familiari, le cene con gli amici e i parenti, le chiacchierate, le canzoni intonate insieme, le passeggiate all’aperto, i caffè bevuti in centro o in riva al mare ed ogni piccolo gesto che avevamo sempre dato per scontato.
Perché la verità è che è stato necessario perdere parzialmente la libertà per capirne il suo vero valore. «La libertà è quel bene che ti fa godere di ogni altro bene...» affermava Montesquieu ed è proprio vera questa citazione, in particolare nel periodo attuale che stiamo vivendo, in cui tutto pare ancora non del tutto appianato a causa del Coronavirus e in cielo, all’orizzonte, si intravedono ancora nuvole nere… ma, sia lode a Dio (come cantiamo nel brano «The Storm is passing over»), ecco, apparire in lontananza un bagliore, la luce del mattino, una luce di Speranza annunciando che la tempesta sta lentamente placandosi… 🙏 💝

Because the truth is that it was necessary to partially lose freedom to understand its true value. «Freedom is that good that makes you enjoy every other good...» said Montesquieu and this quote is true, in particular in the current period we are living, in which everything still seems not completely smoothed out because of Coronavirus and in the sky, on the horizon, black clouds can still be glimpsed... but, praise be to God, behold, in the distance appears a glow, the morning light, a light of Hope announcing that the storm is slowly calming... 🙏 💝
