Hey, you. Yeah you. Do a subscribe thingy, would ya? https://youtube.com/user/mrjohnnyb51?...
I watched the Problem Child series on repeat as a kid. I am pretty sure I wore out my VHS copy, for sure. I hadn't seen this 90s movie for a while, so when I heard about the passing of Gilbert Gottfried I got a bit nostalgic. I rewatched this retro movie with the hopes that my childhood favorite would still bring joy...
It didn't.
In fact, this movie is pretty messed up. Pretty much every joke is ridiculing adoptive parents and the children they adopt. John Ritter was pretty much the only likable character, and that's a bit of a stretch.
Enjoy my nostalgia-filled review of Problem Child (1990) starring John Ritter, Amy Yasbeck, Jack Warden, Michael Oliver, and Gilbert Gottfried. Directed by Dennis Dugan.
You can watch it for yourself... idk why, on Peacock.
