Pans People - You Make Me Feel Brand New - TOTP TX: 15/08/1974

Noel Edmonds (with some help from The Osmonds) looks at the weekly pop chart from 15th August 1974 and introduces The Glitter Band, Donny & Marie Osmond, Cozy Powell, Cockney Rebel, Sweet Dreams, Bay City Rollers, Sylvia, The Osmonds, The Three Degrees, The Osmonds and a Pans People dance sequence.

Much better picture quality than the version doing the rounds on the net and YT (which the image is blocky and too garish in colour)

A rather excitable intro from Donny Osmond (poor bloke). introducing 5 lovely girls, amidst the screams of girls, and us the guys are probably screaming with excitement at the girls (probably not). He (that is the piano toothed wonder boy Donny) got to spend time with the girls during rehearsals (lucky sod)

This was only Sue's fourth routine, after her incredible debut and she is beginning to look like a Pans girl now...if you don't think so then I'll just fume and sulk for days.

Fancy pinkish dresses, Ruth looking sassy, Sue looking incredible, in fact they all do...breezing through this so so big hit by The Stylistics (in fact the other big hit of theirs, UK wise, was also danced to by Pans People - I Can't Give You Anything)


Again this was supplied to me by VintageVideos (again I have a copy of the show in question - but thankful Vin saved me the trouble of extracting it), I assume from Umatic with timecode, this has been updated with the intro and outro of said screaming girls and The Osmonds (who?)
