A catchy track from their album 'Elephant'. Uses the root, fifth and eighth on the guitar fretboard to construct a beautiful rhythm guitar part, where Jack White switches from strummed parts to plucked parts and vice versa, which gives the audience variation in what they are hearing. Efficiency in simplicity. Ideally one should use the ring finger for the fifth and the pinky for the eithth but since the action on this guitar is set a bit high, I fretted both notes with the ring finger. For the strummed part of Verse 1, I implemented a variation where I would hold the chord for a bit of sustained fun rather than strumming in quarter notes as seen in Verse 2.

Used a replica SM58 to mic a Marshall MG15FX(middle of speaker coil)in its 'Crunch' mode, ran it through the interface, used IK Multimedia's 'Amplitude 5' for a Fender Deluxe 57 amp sim with overdrive pedal and a noise gate(Front of Chain).

Tuning: Standard
(E)-(A)-(D)-(G)-(B)-(E)
