Osmania University Common Entrance Test is popularly known as OUCET. OUCET is an entrance exam for various Post Graduate Courses, PG Diploma courses, and 5-Year Integrated programmes offered by four universities namely: Osmania University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Telangana University, and Palamuru Univesity. These four universities have a good reputation in the Deccan region of the Indian subcontinent. These four universities are well known for their research opportunities and other higher educational developments that they offer to the candidates.

Students from these universities are considered to be well versed in their subjects. The courses offered through OUCET are M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, M.C.J, B.L.ISc, M.L.J.Sc, M.S.W, M.Ed, M.P.Ed & PG Diploma Courses. OUCET does not cover the management courses and medical courses. OUCET is an exam that tests the candidate on their graduate degree subjects and application oriented knowledge. Hence good knowledge and command over undergraduate subjects.
