2021-03-24 Xiao Qi Ji ~ Pure Joy! Cub-Sized Tub for our Boy!

#PandaStory Day 215: On a rainy Spring day in DC, Xiao Qi Ji stayed inside, and for 1 hour we were treated to the joy of watching him enjoy his cub-sized tub in his den!

At 7:35am the cameras switched to the den where Qi Ji was relishing a breakfast treat on his puck ~ while sitting in his tub! I'm thinking it was sweet potatoes because he not only cleaned off the puck, but every drop spilled in the tub too!

Then Qi Ji thoroughly enjoyed his tub as he tumbled in and out, and around it, as well as chewing on it! Then it appears a keeper gave him a more cub-friendly bamboo stick (to replace the one they took earlier), and it was savored and chewed on while sitting in the tub. More tumbling ensued after he removed his stick.

Then Qi Ji dragged in his Jolly Ball ... and had to figure out how to get the ball up and over the rim of the tub. Not to worry, he figured it out and played with it too. Afterward, as he rubbed and leaned sweetly against his ball, you can see that he is winding down and getting sleepy. Shortly after he was asleep.
