Built in 1869 by early agricultural pioneer William Meek, Meek Mansion sits within what is now Meek Estate Park — once part of a thriving orchard landscape in the Cherryland area. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is preserved for public enjoyment through the efforts of the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (HARD) in partnership with the Hayward Area Historical Society.
