A popular Philippine Folk song lullaby from Iloilo in the Visayan region of the Philippine Islands is "Ili Ili, Tulog Anay." The Music was originally written in the dialect of Iloilo known as Illonggo (formerly known as Hiligayon). This lullaby, which is typically sung by an older sister or female relative, instructs the infant to go to sleep while their mother is out buying bread. The song's melody is lovely, and it perfectly reflects the ideals of the Filipino family.
