Ubuntu 20.04 LTS "Focal Fossa" is the next LTS release, the latest Ubuntu of 2020. Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is the current version of Linux ubuntu distribution. It brings more features and fixes as well as bugs which were present in the prior versions(Ubuntu 18.04, 19.10, 19.10 and many more)
Those features include exFat Support, New Wallpapers to make it look a bit sexy, ZFS support and as well as the Amazon web launcher was removed from this version. Other features are: AMD Radeon Graphic Driver support, Linux Kernel 5.4 (not 5.5), and the brand new store which is Snap App Store and many more.
It also support GNOME 3.36 as well as all the features that GNOME 3.36 supports are supported in this version of Linux ubuntu.

⇒ Feature Freeze: February 27, 2020
No new features was added to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Unless in critical situations. The focus was on improving the existing features.

⇒ UI Freeze: March 19, 2020
The development of the User Interface stops. No additional features or changes was made to the UI from this point.

⇒ Beta Freeze: April 2, 2020
This is when those eager people started to taste its favor.

⇒ Kernel Freeze: April 9, 2020
⇒ Final Freeze: April 16, 2020
From this date, no changes, updates, or features will be made to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Only rare bug fixes, if any.

⇒ Final release: April 23, 2020
It is the official release date of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS stable release. Both Ubuntu Desktop and Ubuntu server. Users should be able to update to the latest version.
