Swedish Mess Kit Cajun Boil and Popcorn Camp Cook at Hoosier National Forest: Updated Version

The star of this video is the mess kit. The Swedish mess kit is, in my opinion, the best military mess kit ever. Mine is the stainless steel version that I bought from a guy in Estonia. Best I can tell it was made in the late 30s or early 40s. I picked it up from eBay 3 years ago for about $80 USD.

This is a great basic recipe for camping and is a perfect vehicle for all types of meats, seafood, spices, and veg. I took the film clips from a recent car camping trip. Again, this is something I do for fun, and it is not meant to be a pro video. This is just a small demo of the mess kit and a camp cook filmed at Buzzard Roost Recreational Area in Cannelton, IN. This is an updated version of my previous video for a cajun boil. I fixed some errors and tried to tighten up the editing. I think it looks a lot better. Still not great, but better.
