Happy Monday, all! I hope your day was great! Last week I got a comment on a video from a viewer asking for an explanation on warm colors versus cool colors. I thought I'd talk a bit about that in today's video. Plus, the adorable Summer Friends stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh was just begging for a beach scene, don't you think? The little girl wearing heart-shaped sunglasses was too cute to resist. :)

I'm by no means an expert on color theory. This is just how I view warm vs. cool colors. I generally mix and match warm and cool colors. But when I really think about only using warmer colors or only using cooler colors, I do find that scenes look that much more cohesive. It's a great theory to keep in your arsenal and break out every once in a while.

As an example, I painted one card using cooler colors and the other card in warmer colors. I really like both examples. There's definitely a different mood in each one. Which do you prefer?
