Heavy Lake Effect Snow made for a treacherous commute this morning for seasoned drivers of Erie, PA. Earlier this morning a band of lake effect snow moved through the region dumping anywhere from 2-6 inches across the region (where the conditions persisted).

Included in the shots is a vehicle that was in the ditch that slid off from I-79 (25-40 ft drop).

1. Going down hill, tail lights and snow covered roads.
