Priced at $2,500, the Picycle is powered with a lithium-ion battery pack that can propel the bike about 30 miles at a speed of 20 mph on a single charge. It can even tackle hills, albeit with a little pedal help from the rider. With its Ferrari red paint, arched backbone and minimalist design, the Picycle is a high-functioning piece of rolling sculpture -- a living example of the adage, Form follows function.
