New Naim Nait 50 Integrated Amplifier Unboxing

Описание к видео New Naim Nait 50 Integrated Amplifier Unboxing

Unboxing of my new Naim Nait 50, an updated version of the legendary Nait 1 released in 1983, marking the 50th anniversary of the founding of Naim Audio by Julian Vereker in 1973. Accordingly, only 1973 units have been manufactured in Salisbury and when they're gone, they're gone. I had one on home loan for nearly two weeks from my local Naim dealer, HiFi Corner in Edinburgh (cheers Tony and Joe!) and what I thought would be a collectible piece of nostalgia turns out to be an exceptional piece of engineering. Clearly this was not a mere marketing gimmick, but a labour of love for Naim's engineering team and something of a return to Naim's founding ethos.

This funky little retro shoebox punches well above its weight, delivering the distinctive Naim sound, but with greater sophistication and musicality. Consider it the antithesis of the Statement. Utterly affordable (at least for Made in Britain audiophile kit), it strips back hifi to its essence: the enjoyment of music.

My system:
Naim Nait 50
Linn LP12 Majik (Karousel / Trampolin 2 / Jelco arm / Adikt)
Harbeth M20.1 Special Edition
