In this video we take a careful and thorough look at the most common of all chord progressions, the 251. We look at what it is, why it works, how to approach making some beautiful solo's over it on the saxophone and how to practice being not terrified of chord charts in general.

We look at how to understand guide tones which makes you sound completely awesome.

If you're not sure about modes, Dorian minors, mixolydian or major scales then you might want to look at some of the other videos that I have made first.

There's also some dancing, my sausage fingers get a mention, my complete terror of chord charts in general when I first started comes up and I call a 7th a 5th by mistake. It's a whole bunch of fun, honest.
