Uganda opens first trial of Lord's Resistance Army commander • FRANCE 24 English

A historic trial gets underway in Uganda, where a child soldier-turned commander in the Lord's Resistance Army faces justice. Thomas Kwoyelo is the first LRA commander to be tried by a Ugandan court. Also, Zambia steps up its efforts in its fight against cholera. The current outbreak has already killed more than 400 people since October. And what a day it's been at the Africa Cup of Nations! Senegal get their place in the last 16, winning against Cameroon, while Cape Verde trounce Mozambique 3-0.
