Sibling Rivalry: Sonus faber Sonetto VIII vs Olympica Nova 1

Описание к видео Sibling Rivalry: Sonus faber Sonetto VIII vs Olympica Nova 1

We compare the top of the Sonus faber entry series, the Sonetto VIII vs the bottom of the higher series, the Olympica Nova I to see what happens. Can a small bookshelf speakers like the Nova I compete with the mighty floor standing, full range Sonetto VIII? Walter S, a very good friend suggested that this topic might be interesting as both speakers are priced the same, yet one is the top of the line in a lower series, while the other is the bottom of a higher series. What are the differences? Is there an obvious winner?

Both the Sonetto VIII and Olympica Nova I are priced at $6,500 USD or $8,775 CDN. The custom-made extruded aluminum optional stands for the Olympica Nova I are $1,200/pr or $1,620 CDN
