She is Negril, Jamaica's gift to all who visit Negril each winter. I also have to give 'kudos' to the members of this housebound at Drifter's. Kenroy Campbell on guitar, Banga on drums, Rambo on bass...these musicians are veterans of the Jamaican music scene and are some of the very best, if not the best, in all of Jamaica.

Crystal Axe is the undisputed musical 'Queen of Negril'...She's often introduced as Jamaica's very own Tina Turner...it's a title very much warranted…She has a powerful voice and is an energetic performer. She's also the daughter of one of the members with the legendary 'Overtakers', a band that has been playing music for over 50 years in Jamaica. Crystal can sing and she can dance...Reggae is her forte...but she covers soul, blues, some pop and rap with the best...there's not a better party happening on the Island when she's performing.
