The BIGGEST MERSEY COD for us this Winter - Catching Codling in Liverpool - Sea Fishing UK

Filmed in 2022 this is the next video from you’re favourite old Dad & Lad duo from Finding Fish UK.

We’re at it again… but this time Winter Cod Fishing from the shore. This episode see us at Otterspool Promenade in Liverpool Fishing the River Mersey on a Cod Hunt. We catch the biggest Cod of the season so far for us as well as catching Whiting & Rockling too. As ever the video features our cake and brew section, what will it be today? We capture footage of when we get a bite in real time with a replay & at the end a lovely bit of homemade Fish & Chips to try to make you jealous.

Our winter night fishing session starts at just after Low water & we fish right up to & over High tide until early in the morning.

We show you our choice of what fishing tackle to use for cod and show you each of the fish we catch using our new camera setup which hopefully allows you to see each catch in detail.

Safe to say we had a great time making this video and so hope you like it too.
