This track was made at the very first session to result in a commercial record release credited to the Anson Weeks band. It features a vocal by “The California Blue Boy” Charles W. Hamp, who had led a service band entertaining troops during WWI, was a popular Los Angeles radio performer beginning in the late ‘20s, and recorded a number of sides under his own name for Columbia and OKeh, including a different version of “Dream House.” Label credit associates this song with the 1928 musical revue(?) “Monkey Business.”
