As I said, I did have some gems planned for this final month of 2023 and for December. I am going to end this interesting year on a positive note and this is one of the two ScaleTrains N scale model train videos I have set aside for this glorious moment.

Here is my N scale model train review of the ScaleTrains GE Tier 4 ET44AC Diesel Locomotive in the Canadian National/Elgin, Joliet & Eastern (EJ&E) livery that is represented by 3023 and this one has DCC sound as I missed out on the DCC ready models as I bought this one back in March and this one was set aside for my birthday back in June and I have only just got around to covering this model..

The model train runs great right out of the box and its almost silent, it's a silky smooth runner and I am very impressed with the detail and the handling. It's on par with Kato. This batch came out in January 2023, so it is a 2023 release. There is working headlights, ditch lights (non osculating) and illuminated number boards as well as DCC sound via the ESU LokSound decoder that is pre-fitted. This is a great locomotive from ScaleTrains in my opinion. .
