Demonstration of the TD5 ECU being made standalone by emulator.
I appreciate these can be done in software if you are a dab hand with the soldering iron on SMD components however, I don't like removing any components from an ECU if at all possible.
These are also very handy as a DIY fit solution as it's 3 wires and the soldering locations are in easy locations on the connector.
