Reading & Northern 2102 | Railfanning the Reading Rambles (5/25/2024)

On this day we continue our trip in Pennsylvania. This time I’m not down here for Freight. I’m out here for some Reading & Northern Steam Action. This is a pretty intense chase compared to the Valley Railroad in Essex. Then again this was my first time chasing Reading & Northern Steam. So while I had a rough understanding of what I was getting myself into. I was NOT expecting it to be this intense. Still managed to get 2102 in a lot of different spots along the line. I got to see PIJT with an Anniversary Unit leading. I’d say that was pretty cool to see. On top of that since we had time we even got the Reading & Northern F-Units on LGSR. The F-Units are definitely on my list of trains I’d like to chase at some point. However Reading & Northern 425 will probably take priority over that whenever it comes back from It’s inspection / rebuild. Anyways I had a great time seeing 2102 with my buddy Connecticut Rail Films & I cannot wait to do this again sometime. Reading & Northern 2102 is a great steam engine. I would highly recommend making at least 2 trips down there. It’s 100% worth it & like I said I cannot wait to do this again
