"i" for Improved - PMC's New Twenty5i Loudspeakers - SoundStage! InSight (September 2020)

The Professional Monitor Company, PMC, was established in 1991 and makes speakers for studios and homes. Their newest speaker series is called Twenty5i, comprised of two stand-mounted models, three floorstanders, and a center-channel. The "i" in the name stands for "improved," because the design team took the same basic design elements from the previous Twenty5 line and added in new technologies from the flagship Fenestria loudspeaker. Like all PMC speakers, the Twenty5i models employ transmission-line technology for the bass, to significantly increase low-frequency output and lower distortion. Featured in this video are PMC's creative director, Keith Tonge, and R&D engineer, Toby Ridley, who describe all the models and the design details they feel make this newest PMC speaker line special.
