Ledlenser P7R Core Flashlight Review

This is a field test of the Ledlenser P7R Core (1400LM Peak) flashlight. I want to thank Ledlenser for providing the flashlight and making the video possible. This light is regarded as an 'all arounder' or a light that is reasonably good for a number of use cases as opposed to one that is optimized for a single task.

I'll expand in the comment section, but I also think the light is good for a SAR kit - not necessarily a search light, but a light that part of a 'night kit' in your pack. This kit can help avoid your having to be rescued in the first place or increase your survivability in the event of an unplanned event.

The biggest problem I encounter in night wilderness Search and Rescue is people who were out during the day who had no plan to be out at night. But, Mr. Murphy and his law had something to say about that.

The P7R Core was extensively tested in a night hiking environment at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas. All clips were shot one-take with an iPhone 14 Pro MAX.
