Good Morning Young Groms,
MY FIRST REAL POWDER DAY! Even since ‪@gilsonsnow‬ hooked me up with a powder board, I have been dreaming of a true powder day. If you saw my NH to VT to MA surf and snowboard trip I was hunting a storm that ended up dumping in NJ and it was pretty much dust on crust for me. But not today, today was the fluffy white gold of us East Coast skiers's dreams. Even Mark who lived out West in his 20s said this was the best day he's ever had in 40 years of skiing. We came for surf, but I think the snow conditions were the biggest score of the entire trip! We were on cloud nine and my legs were surprisingly sore after 2 hours on the hill. It takes a certain attitude to be able to flip the switch this quick. But the crew rented skis and boards with easy and we were on the mountain scoring in no time.
