This lovely group of contact photographs was part of Vera-Ellen’s estate when she died in 1981. Her cousin, Fred, gave them to me, and they are so beautiful that I wanted to share them. They were taken during one of the happiest times of her life. The premiere of White Christmas took place the same evening, she had recently been married to Victor Rothschild, and life was good for Vera-Ellen. #veraellen #whitechristmas #hollywoodglamour
