We've been working our way through all of XTC's albums, and it's been such a pleasure! We love XTC and think they are the greatest band of the 80s. They really put out the most impressive sequence of records, and this is one of them, right smack in the middle of their unprecedented run.

The Big Express is beautiful, evocative, dramatic, melodic, harmonious, exciting rock n' roll. The best songs ever, dynamic and interesting, with melodies and sounds that you just want to listen to over and over again.
