Explore one of Scotland's hidden paradises: A Walled Garden + Snowdrop Wood!

Join me as I visit the beautiful seaside gardens of Cambo in the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland. These spectacular gardens are just 7 miles from St Andrews and are a perfect thing to do if you are visiting Fife or the East Coast of Scotland.

Part of the Fife Coastal Path long distance walk, the snowdrop wood at Cambo Estate runs from the beach at Kingsbarns up along the banks of a stream to the original walled garden.

There are wonderful examples of planting ideas for winter interest outside the walled garden, a beautiful setting for a collection of special named snowdrop varieties.

In the walled garden the old walls give the garden a microclimate. It has been planted with prairie style planting - with the grasses and seedheads providing interest right through the winter. There are also areas for sustainable cut flowers, fruit and vegetables.
