Vintage Philips CD Player CD 150. How does it stack up with current ones?

What is it like listening to a mid 80's CD player in 2020? Should you pick one up if you are a CD lover? I recently tried out this Philips CD 150 vintage CD player and was in love with the amount of music I got from it. It has a very simple design and I am going to break down the bit and pieces of it.
