Flying far and in exceptional comfort is all well and good, but not if you can’t land at all the airports you need to reach. This is why Dassault’s latest Falcon 8X jet has been developed to be need minimal runway space to touch down on. BJT editor-in-chief Matt Thurber had the chance to test the aircraft’s short field performance for himself when he went flying with Dassault test pilots. The scenery in France and Switzerland was breath-taking, but so too was the Falcon 8X’s performance.
