Alwa's Awakening is a true NES classic, considering all that a true NES game has to offer. Early gaming dictates that the player establish their own learning curve, and as such, extraneous aid will not be found in Alwa's Awakening! Early gaming required the player to learn how to win, and this is totally the case here. Despite the learning curve however, the simple graphics, great music, unlockable abilities, and collectibles scattered throughout the game will keep you transfixed as you navigate over 400 dungeon rooms, despite the reasonably light story line.
