Scrap Long Island caboose and subway cars, abandoned GE 44 tonner and CSX freight trains 8804 CWR

CSX 8804 leads a loaded rail train east on the Erie West Subdivision crossing the Youngstown in Ashtabula Ohio. Shown from the north side and then the south side, us foamers got a friendly wave and toots from the engineer.

CSX 7503 leads an eastbound empty trash train, watch for the fantastic graffiti mural at the end of the train.

CSX 2505 leads the local that works out of Ashtabula. I forget the symbol but it works the industries on the east side of town. We see the same local on a different day crossing Middle Rd with CSX 6548 heading south. They still have a few chemical industries here and some outfit scrapping old cabooses and passenger cars. Also on the site is a GE 44 tonner that doesn’t appear to be in service anymore.
