A call from Bridget interrupts Jason and Sam's New Year's kiss and Jason redevous with Courtney at the police station while trying to bail bridget out. Jason struggles with his feelings about the baby because he fears Sam might lose her. They take the baby to the hospital where Jason suggest the name hope and Courtney's jealousy surfaces as she overhears the conversation.
