Ken Ehlers Sn3 RGS layout tour for NNG 9 March 2021 HD 720p

Ken Ehlers shows his Sn3 scale modeling masterpiece of a train layout, representing the prototype Rio Grande Southern in western Colorado. The presentation includes pictures of his many detailed locomotives, rolling stock, buildings, trestles, bridges and scenery, and includes tips about his modeling techniques and design process. He also describes his operating session paperwork. At the end there is some interesting Q&A with the live audience.

This clinic was part of the fourth in a series of layout tours, clinics and vendor presentations that are being presented by a group of avid narrow gage modelers around the world calling themselves "National Narrow Gage" (NNG.groups.io). We have started this series of presentations called "Off the Beaten Track" to capture layouts located in remote areas that are not likely to be included in future in-person model railroad conventions that may occur after the pandemic is over, as well as informative clinics and vendor updates of interest to the railroad modeling community.
