spend a few days with me in Winnipeg - drive 1000 kilometres to go to the doctor and needlepoint joy

One of the oh-so-fun things about living where I live is that to see almost any kind of specific doctor you have to travel; far, hundreds of kilometres. I drove 500 kilometres each way to see a surgeon and took advantage of the opportunity to hit up some shops, eat in restaurants, and stock up on needlepoint supplies. Stay tuned for hip surgery vlogs in a few months - yay (ugh).
